Looking for Medical Assistant to for Recuperative Care Unit. Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience. The candidates should be familiar or willing to learn harm reduction, drug user health, and addiction medicine. MA should be committed to providing patient-centered care with unconditional positive regard and without judgement for individuals with complex medical and psychosocial histories, including people experiencing homelessness, who use drugs, who engage in sex work, and/or who have been incarcerated. This is an ASAP start, once you are complete with the onboarding process you can start.

Responsibilities for MA:

• Assisting the RNs & LVNs: Vitals, Blood Sugar checks, rooming patients, finger sticks
• Assisting patients with routine hygiene ADL's
• Provide basic patient care and treatments by maintaining flexibility and patient-care in all tasks

Pay and Benefits for MA:

• This is connected to an Acute care facility open Sunday- Saturday 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
• Must be flexible: Schedule may vary 7AM, 3PM, 11PM
• Pay: $23 to start-within 60days with NO attendance issues pay will be evaluated for raise to $24
• Weekly Pay /OT offered!

Requirements/Education for MA

• MA diploma from Accredit school
• BLS by American Heart Association
• MMR/VZV titers, Physical, and TB
• Will need to pass drug screen and background
