Looking for 10, Medical Assistants in the Beverly Hills Area for ASAP start ! Must have at least 1 year of MA experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
Medical Assistant Duties:
- Take appropriate vital signs, review current med and record in medical record
- Assist in tracking and monitoring department specific date.
- Explain policies, procedures, or services to patient’s baes on scope and practice.
- Set up exam/procedure rooms.
- Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines
- Administer immunization, injections or oral medications as directed by provider
- Draw and prepare designated lab work specimens as directed
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program- AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, MMCI
- Experience with medical insurance, referral processes and benefit plans
- 1 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
- Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
- Experience with Epic
- Experience with Quest Diagnostic lab submissions
- Phlebotomy certification
- Medical terminology
